About Valorant & CS2 Sensitivity

While Valorant and CS2 are both top-tier tactical shooters, they use different sensitivity values. This means a sensitivity of "1" in CS2 feels much different than "1" in Valorant. The difference comes down to the game engine's "yaw" value, which is a multiplier that controls how fast you turn. Valorant's yaw is different from CS2's, creating this discrepancy.

This converter does the simple but crucial math for you. By using the exact ratio between the games' yaw values, it calculates the equivalent sensitivity to ensure your cm/360° remains identical. A consistent cm/360° means you have to move your mouse the exact same physical distance to do a 360-degree turn in both games, which is the key to transferring your muscle memory and maintaining your aim.

How to Use This Converter

  1. Enter Your Settings: Input your current in-game sensitivity for the game you're converting FROM.
  2. Set Your Mouse DPI: Enter your mouse's DPI. This doesn't change the conversion but is needed to calculate your eDPI and cm/360°.
  3. Get Your New Sensitivity: The tool instantly displays the precise sensitivity you need to enter in the other game's settings.
  4. Swap (Optional): Click the swap button in the middle to easily convert in the other direction (e.g., from CS2 to Valorant).

Pro Tips for Consistency

  • The Magic Number: To convert your Valorant sensitivity to CS2, you divide it by `0.314`. To go from CS2 to Valorant, you multiply by `0.314`. This tool handles that for you perfectly.
  • Disable Acceleration: For the most consistent aim, make sure "Raw Input" is enabled in both games and that any mouse acceleration ("Enhance pointer precision") is turned OFF in your Windows settings.
  • Scoped Sensitivity: Both games have a default scoped sensitivity of 1.00, which feels consistent to most players. We recommend keeping this default value in both games for a seamless transition when aiming down sights.
