About PUBG Scope Sensitivity

In PUBG, consistent aim is the key to winning your gunfights. However, the game's sensitivity settings can be complex. You have a "General Sensitivity" for hip-fire, an "ADS Sensitivity" for non-magnified scopes, and separate "Per-Scope" sensitivities for every magnified optic. If these are not set correctly, your aim can feel drastically different when you switch from a Red Dot to a 4x or 6x scope, completely throwing off your muscle memory.

This tool solves that problem. It takes your preferred base ADS sensitivity and calculates the mathematically correct values for every single scope. The goal is to achieve a "1:1" feel based on monitor distance, which means the speed you move your crosshair across a target feels the same regardless of your zoom level. This ensures a seamless and predictable aiming experience, giving you a major competitive advantage.

How to Use This Calculator

  1. Enter Your Base Settings: Input your in-game "General Sensitivity," "Vertical Sensitivity Multiplier," and "Aim Down Sight Sensitivity" values from PUBG.
  2. Get Your Scope Values: The tool instantly calculates the ideal sensitivity for each scope, from the 1x Red Dot to the 15x scope.
  3. Apply In-Game: Go to Settings -> Control -> Mouse in PUBG. Find the "Per-Scope Sensitivity" section and carefully enter each value from the table into the corresponding scope's slider.
  4. Enable Per-Scope Settings: Make sure you have the "Per-Scope Sensitivity" option set to "Custom" in the game to use these values.

Tips for Pro-Level Aim

  • Set Vertical Sensitivity to 1.0: For a true 1:1 relationship between horizontal and vertical mouse movements, most pro players set their Vertical Sensitivity Multiplier to 1.0.
  • Disable Mouse Acceleration: In your Windows mouse settings, make sure "Enhance pointer precision" is turned OFF. This feature can make your aim inconsistent and is not recommended for competitive gaming.
  • Use the Training Grounds: After applying your new settings, jump into the Training Grounds. Practice snapping between targets with different scopes to feel the consistency and make sure it's comfortable for you.
